St. James the Great Church Hall

St. James the Great Church Hall is a  spacious venue that is perfect for a variety of events. With three different spaces to choose from, we have something to offer everyone.

The Main Hall  -  Overall size:  21.2m X 7.2m

Our main hall is the largest space in our church hall, and and has a totally new floor.  It can accommodate up to 200 people depending upon configuration. It is perfect for weddings, receptions, banquets, and other large events including children's parties. Please note that the maximum height of inflatables is 11 feet (3.35 metres). AV equipment is available at small additional charge. 

The Lounge  - Overall Size:  7.5m X 7.5m    (Not in use currently)

Our lounge is a more intimate space that can accommodate up to 30 people. It is perfect for meetings, and other small gatherings. The lounge is adjacent to our fully equipped kitchen. 

The Music Room  -  Overall Size:  10.5m X 6.5m

Our music room is a perfect space for rehearsals, performances, training events, meetings etc.. A range of AV equipment is available at small additional charge

Access is step free (Grey Street entrance).  There is a disabled toilet which also has baby changing facilities.

Kitchen facilities are available to all users.

All of our spaces are available for hire on a daily, weekly, or long term basis. We offer competitive rates and flexible terms.
