Thanking God for all the food that we take for granted reminded us of the peoples of the world who do not have access to the absolute basic requirement of life - clean water.  Without water they are unable to successfully grow crops;  without clean water too many young children die of diseases that are entirely preventable.

Once again our congregation demonstrated their generosity by contributing £150 in a special collection for WaterAid.  Most of the money was GiftAided so the charity will benefit to the tune of more than £180.  

This modest amount will go towards transforming the lives of people who currently have no easy access to clean water or sanitation.  For more information of the work of WaterAid  go to
